3. COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data is collected and stored when you contact Suedtirol-Tirol OHG, when you use the digital platform for the purpose of processing the services you use, for our customer service, for technical administration and for our own marketing purposes. For this purpose, we may require your name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address and credit card information. Suedtirol-Tirol OHG uses personal data to create, develop, provide, deliver and improve its products, services, content and advertising. Your personal data may be passed on to third parties for order processing if this is done for the purpose of contract processing or if you have given your prior consent. Your data will be stored in accordance with the statutory provisions. Your data will therefore be deleted unless statutory retention obligations prevent this, if the data is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored, if you assert a claim for deletion or if storage is no longer permitted for other legally prescribed reasons.

4. COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL DATA

Suedtriol-Tirol OHG also collects data which, standing alone, does not allow any direct reference to a specific person. Suedtriol-Tirol OHG reserves the right to collect, use, pass on and disclose non-personal data. Suedtriol-Tirol OHG collects data such as language, age, occupation, postal code, etc. for a better understanding of the behavior of customers/users/advertisers with the aim of improving its products, services and advertising. Suedtriol-Tirol OHG collects data about customer activity on its digital platform. This data is aggregated and used as a tool to provide customers with more useful information and to understand which parts of its website, products and services are of most interest to customers/users/advertisers. This aggregated data is considered non-personal data for the purposes of this Privacy Policy. In the event that Suedtriol-Tirol OHG combines non-personal data with personal data, this data will be treated as personal data for the duration of its combination.

5. USE OF "INQUIRY FORM" AND "COLLECTIVE INQUIRY FORM TO WATCHLIST"

These forms generate an e-mail to the accommodation providers you have selected. The data you enter will be processed electronically by the accommodation providers to process your request. Suedtirol-Tirol OHG saves a copy of your inquiry on the web server, provided that the Alpine-Bits interface has been activated for the accommodation provider(s). This interface is used to transfer your request to the accommodation provider's local hotel software (e.g. ASA). Access to the interface is only possible for the accommodation provider with their secret user name and password and via an encrypted SSL/TLS connection. The data you enter will be automatically deleted from the suedtirol-tirol.com / altoadige-tirolo.com web server after 72 hours. Suedtirol-Tirol OHG will receive a copy of your request by e-mail. We delete these e-mails with your data after 14 days.

6. USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

The digital platform, online services, interactive programs, e-mails and advertising materials operated by Suedtirol-Tirol OHG, hereinafter referred to as the digital platform, may use cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons to make the digital platform attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device (computer, cell phone, tablet or other electronic devices with which the digital platform can be used). Suedtirol-Tirol OHG uses this data to administer the digital platform, to improve the services and products it offers, to evaluate and analyze trends and to obtain information on user behavior on the digital platform. Suedtirol-Tirol OHG may use the data collected for marketing and advertising purposes. For data protection reasons, Suedtirol-Tirol OHG uses its own installation of the open source software Matomo for website analysis (usage statistics). IP anonymization is of course activated and the server location is in the EU. The Matomo software stores a cookie on your device after you have given your consent.

This website stores cookies without asking so that technical processes can function smoothly. For example, so that we can save your cookie consent in the first place, or so that you can use the watch list (session cookie). When forms are loaded, a technically necessary cookie is set on your device without further inquiry (name of the cookie: "c", content of the cookie "1"). With this cookie, we want to make it more difficult to misuse the forms; tracking does not take place via any of the above-mentioned cookies. This website stores third-party cookies after your consent from a Matomo installation (analysis tool) hosted by us. Data protection is very important to us, which is why the YouTube videos are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com/embed/.

7. USE OF SOCIAL PLUGINS

Social plugins are sometimes used on the digital platform operated by Suedtirol-Tirol OHG. These are plugins of the following social services, which are operated exclusively by the respective networks:

7.1 Use of Facebook social plugins
Suedtirol-Tirol OHG uses social plugins from the social network Facebook on the digital platform. The Facebook plugins can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the "Like" button on the digital platforms. Facebook receives the information that you have visited a digital platform operated by Firstavenue with your IP address. 8 IP ADDRESSES

In order to detect, prevent and investigate attacks on your digital platform, IP addresses are stored in log files for a short period of time with a time stamp and the URL accessed. Log files in which visitors' IP addresses are stored are automatically deleted after 30 days at the latest.

9 INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT

It may occur that Suedtirol-Tirol OHG integrates third-party content, such as Youtube videos and graphics from other websites, on their digital platform. This always presupposes that the content providers perceive the users' IP address, as without the IP address, they could not send the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is thus necessary for the display of these contents. Suedtirol-Tirol OHG strives to use content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of content. However, Suedtirol-Tirol OHG has no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to Suedtirol-Tirol OHG, users will be informed about it. A third-party connection is only established through an active click on the corresponding “buttons”.

When you click on the "Weather South Tyrol" button, a connection is established to wetter.provinz.bz.it and your IP address is transmitted. The digital platform wetter.provinz.bz.it is a weather service of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
When you click on the "Weather Tyrol" button, a connection is established to wetteronline.de and your IP address is transmitted. The digital platform wetteronline.de is a weather service of WetterOnline Meteorological Services GmbH, 53117 Bonn, Germany.
When you click on a video, a connection is made to youtube.com to load the video. Your IP address is transmitted to youtube.com. This is a service of YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you click on an icon of the respective social media plugins, a connection is made to third-party providers. For further information, Suedtirol-Tirol OHG refers to the explanations under item 7.
Interactive Map
OpenStreetMap - Germany: This website loads content from "Openstreetmap.de (so-called "map tiles"). Your IP address is transmitted to Openstreetmap.de. This server is operated by FOSSGIS e.V. from 79199 Kirchzarten, Germany.
Mapbox: As a "fallback" (if Openstreetmap.de is slow), this website loads content from "Mapbox" (so-called "map tiles"). Your IP address is transmitted to Mapbox.com. Mapbox is a company from the USA. The headquarters are located in Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

10 NEWSLETTER

With the newsletter, Suedtirol-Tirol OHG informs you about news. If you wish to receive the newsletter, Suedtirol-Tirol OHG requires a valid email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. This data is used exclusively for sending the newsletters and will not be shared with third parties. By registering for the newsletter, Suedtirol-Tirol OHG stores your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in case a third party misuses an email address and signs up for the newsletter without the knowledge of the entitled person. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters themselves or by message to our team at info@suedtirol-tirol.com (see also "Use and sharing of data").

11 SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA

In relation to the objectives stated above, your personal data may be shared as necessary for order processing with the following domestic and foreign entities:

to employees of Suedtirol-Tirol OHG, as well as freelancers, companies, and consultants who support Suedtirol-Tirol OHG, but only within the context of the previously mentioned purpose;
to public administrations and authorities, as legally required;
to financial institutions with which Suedtirol-Tirol OHG maintains business relations for the management of receivables/liabilities and for financing intermediation. Personal data will not be shared for advertising purposes;

The forwarding occurs if it is deemed beneficial for the exercise of our activity and in the manner stated above with the corresponding objectives.

12 RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have the right to inquire about the status of your data at any time, as well as to request its modification or deletion, or to object to its processing. You can view and/or modify your personal data online. The disclosure of your personal data occurs on a voluntary basis when entering it on the websites of Firstavenue. The Data Protection Act and the European Regulation grant you the possibility to exercise certain rights:

To know which personal data the owner has about you and to obtain information about whether data concerning you exists, even if it is not yet stored;
To receive detailed information about these data, their origin, and the reason and purpose of their processing in an understandable form;
To receive information about the owner and the person responsible for processing, and the persons and categories of persons to whom this data may be transmitted;
To verify, check, correct, and complete your data;

To wholly or partially object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons, as well as to request their deletion, blocking, or conversion into non-personal data; or without legitimate reason, if data is used for the purpose of commercial information, sending of advertising material, direct selling, market, and opinion research.

You or a person authorized by you can exercise your rights/deletion of data by making a request to the data processing owner via a letter to the contact address specified in section 2. Suedtirol-Tirol OHG may refuse to process requests if they are offensive/harassing/defamatory/threatening, endanger the personal rights of others, are extremely impractical, or if providing information is otherwise not provided for by the relevant legal order.

13 PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Suedtirol-Tirol OHG places great emphasis on the security of your personal data. The data protection practices of Suedtirol-Tirol OHG are in accordance with the applicable laws of the Italian state (Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003) and the European Union (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council) regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

This Data Protection Policy applies to all services offered by Suedtirol-Tirol OHG. The Data Protection Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies and individuals.
